Creative Director Programme Lead, Film Production
Phil leads the Film Production programme and the student videography company. With a background in professional filmmaking and extensive experience in education, he focuses on bridging the gap between college and industry. His vision is to create opportunities for young people to work to professional standards while still in education, gaining the experience and confidence they need to progress into the industry.
Ben Hernandez
Technical Lead
Ben completed the Film Production programme in 2024 and is now a full-fledged professional marketing video producer for numerous companies and organisations across the South East. He brings exceptional technical knowledge and creativity to the role. His experience in cinematography and live event production, developed both during and beyond his studies, allows him to mentor current students with clarity and authenticity, providing an inspiring example of what can be achieved through the programme.
Max Bell
Videography Lead
Max also graduated from the Film Production programme in 2024 and now works alongside the team as Videography Lead. Despite finishing the course only last year, Max has already developed a distinctive style as a filmmaker and editor, specialising in short films and promotional video. He supports student crews throughout every stage of production, combining professional insight with the peer understanding of someone who was recently in their position.
